Ted Johnson received his MD from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Johnson attained his MPH at the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health.

Dr. Johnson is a Professor of Geriatric Medicine within the Emory School of Medicine and holds secondary appointments as Professor in the Department of Urology and in the Rollins School of Public Health, Department of Epidemiology, of Emory University.  Dr. Johnson’s directorships include: Director of the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at Emory; Director of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center for Health in Aging; Program Director of the Atlanta Regional Geriatric Education Center; and

Dr. Johnson is the recipient of several federal and VA peer-reviewed grants and sees patients needing specialty care for lower urinary tract disorders at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA, and at the Wesley Woods Center of Emory University.  Though his primary clinical research focus is that of lower urinary tract disorders and nocturia, as a geriatrician Dr. Johnson is particularly concerned with understanding the functional capacity and quality-of-life experiences of persons as they age, to include building better communities that are safer for and more attentive to the needs of older adults.

Rebecca completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and received her Master’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Dillard is Program Manager of the Emory Center for Health in Aging and is the Administrator of the Atlanta Regional Geriatric Education Center (ARGEC). Ms. Dillard has long held an interest in public policy studies, particularly relating to health policy and public health education. As Program Manager of the Emory Center for Health in Aging,Ms. Dillard is charged with developing community outreach, advocacy and policy initiatives relating to the health and safety of older adults. As administrator of the Atlanta Regional GEC, Ms. Dillard coordinates several educational programs for health professionals in the greater Atlanta region with ARGEC consortium members Emory University, GA State University, Morehouse School of Medicine, and the Atlanta Regional Commission. Ms Dillard is committed fulfilling to the CHA’s mission of “enabling older adults to age safely and successfully in their homes and communities” by way of community outreach and partnership, education, and policy initiatives aimed to positively impact the aging population in our region.

Dr. Price is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology. He received his MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine and geriatrics fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Price is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He has been appointed Chief of Medicine for the Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital, Associate Program Director of the Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Emory, and serves as the Medical Director of the AG Rhodes Home at Wesley Woods.

Dr. Price currently works with Dekalb County Police and Courts and the State of Georgia DHR on improving the recognition and care of victims of elder abuse. He serves on the board of the Georgia Geriatric Society, the Professional Practice Committe of the American Medical Directors Association, and is a member of the American Geriatrics Society. He was recently awarded Certified Medical Director status by the American Medical Directors Association.
