Carolyn Clevenger, RN, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, GNP-BC, FAANP

Biography

Dr. Clevenger is a quality improvement methodologist and brings the gerontological nurse perspective to the EQUIPPED team.  Her program of health systems research utilizes the Model for Improvement and focuses on vulnerable older adults such as those with dementia or other serious illness.  Dr. Clevenger serves as Assistant Dean for MSN education in the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University  and as Senior Nurse Scholar for the Atlanta VA Quality Scholars program.  She is a co-investigator on multiple studies of health systems that serve older adults including the assessment of gait speed, EQUIPPED, and the support for emotional well-being in the context of Alzheimer’s disease.
