Alter was created in 2019 to increase awareness around dementia in predominantly African American faith communities in the state of Georgia. Alter partners with churches to create dementia-friendly, inclusive environments through education, tools and techniques, and other resources.

DREAMing Together

DREAMing Together (DTog) stands for Developing Research Education and Advocacy for Multicultural Seniors Together. DTog is an interactive, 8-week at-home telehealth program that hopes to empower caregivers as they care for someone with Parkinson's Disease-related dementias and other parkinsonism-related dementias.
